At Majestic Landscapes we understand what it takes to make your landscape shine. Not only should you be able to
enjoy your landscape during the day, but also in the evening. Proper lighting accents areas of your home and the
landscape around it.
There are distinct differences in the fixture.
Light fixtures need to last. Lighting installed by Majestic Landscapes is made of high quality copper, brass or
aluminum. The fixtures need to stand up, day and night, and in all Minnesota seasons. It is important that the fixtures
you have at your home are of the highest quality.  We offer a wide variety of companies to give the best selections
well as the highest quality. Brands we use, but are not limited to, include: Kichler,  Cast Lighting, Night Life, by Hadco,
SPJ Lighting Inc., Cooper  Lighting, Kim Lighting, and many more.
Different effects for different areas.
  • Path lights. These are common but do not have to be. The goal of any lighting project is not to see the fixture.
    With proper lighting choice, you will not notice the fixture, but at night you will see the benefits.
  • Up lighting. Lighting a tree from the ground. This effect will light a tree from the ground up, into the branches.
    This is the most popular and dramatic effect in lighting.
  • Down lighting. Done in trees, but the spot lights are put high in the tree, and the light shines down to the
    ground. This gives wonderful shadows on the ground. Recommended on larger trees only.
  • Corner spots. Narrow beams of light shining onto a corner of the house. This will give an added dimension to
    any landscape.
  • Wall washing. Wash a wall that may have interesting texture, this shows off the texture, and works well with
    stucco homes. Wall Washing also works well to silhouette plants or statues near the structure.
  • Spot Lighting. Spot a particular plant, statue, or even water structure. There are many ways to spot or hi-light a
    particular subject.
